My concept falls into the field of animated content and for lovers of that visual media. From my platform, they can view all forms of animation being 2d and 3d animation, and stop motion, also anything that exceeds technical capabilities that are revolutionary or on the scale of evolution. The purpose behind this concept goes against some of the disadvantages and problems within the animated industry where some stories take a while to become heard, losing the rights to your creation, creative/company intervention, cancelation, etc. With knowing few of those problems, my concept is a solution against those odds that serve as a pathway to independent creators to make their own animated content, whether it shows itself as a show, movie, mini-series short, music video, etc.
The first main function of my concept is being a streamable platform where viewers can view animated content where show creators upload their creative project, regardless, of its creative direction or style. In addition, as a viewer for an example, if you had a specific show you loved very much and wanted to view much more creative content regarding its development ( behind the scenes work ) you have the chance to acquire that information of your own free interest, such as: animation process, character designing, storyboards, episode pitches, brainstorming, board meetings, insightful working environment, and attend Q & A sessions, an opportunity of itself where fans or supporters of their favorite animated content can meet with creators to ask questions for educational or personal reasons.
Regarding the perspective of a creator, a few beneficial functions of this platform to give their show more leverage and to the crew is involving supported functions where you can link your social forms, personal website, online shop containing merchandise, and listing the crew members involved that created the production. Additionally, participating into another function being a crowd-funding, platform. Where creators can seek funding to raise money for their creative project and/or being able to receive customized donations from viewers. Notably, viewers can take the extra mile to subscribe or start a membership that results in funding an animated production that serves as a more financial security for animation creators.
The last function would serve similarly as a video-sharing platform, the uploaded animated content by the creator can be sectioned in different categories for viewers, for diverse reasons that being internally, or externally i.e. race, sexuality, mentality, disability, education, age, etc. For this reason, we hope to showcase the acceptance of free creative range regardless how different it is, so you have the chance to share your stories because viewing different stories from varied perspectives can bring comfort to others that they can relate to.
Overall, my concept is another pathway within the field of animation that is for independent creators that are passionate to set out making their own animated content that can come in any form that can be uploaded and viewed by others being lovers of animation that have the opportunity to share and support any way they can.
