Seeing Green is based on the perspective of whether or not college athletes should be given the ability to be compensated for their Name, Image, and Likeness. Collegiate athletes before NIL were never allowed to profit from their NIL and often these things went under the table. Now, it runs rampant throughout college programs and it's hard to tell if it has done more harm than good. Seeing Green highlights either of the sides benefits and drawbacks given the ultimatum. Its purpose is to propose an answer to the question that has often lied in murky waters: should college athletes benefit from their NIL or should the programs continue to benefit from their players themselves? The exhibit will host a series of posters and informational text in different digestive forms to allow the viewer to participate and answer the question for themselves given the context from either angle.
